is the first professional table tennis rubber with an integrated X-FACTOR technology, combining a sticky surface with a tense structure – without the need for an additional booster. This model, used by Hugo Calderano, is designed especially for players who seek top control in close-to-table play and explosive power in distance play.

Rubber C52.5 boasts Epsilon sponge, whose softer structure enables precise ball handling and adaptation to different playing styles. The sophisticated combination of a sticky surface and elastic sponge provides a low flight with high spin and, at the same time, stability in offensive situations.

It is designed for backhand play at the highest level – softer than C55.0, but with the same technological advancement. The design is based on artificial intelligence that has aligned the grain geometry with the sponge thickness, enabling a perfect balance between speed, control, and spin.

Of course, this rubber is also an excellent choice for the forehand side. However, players like Hugo Calderano on the forehand side choose a harder and faster rubber. Specifically, Hugo uses C55.0 on the forehand side.

This technology was enabled by artificial intelligence. Chinese gluable rubber offers great control on short distances because of its hard sponge and gluable surface. But the use of this rubber weakens the balls, hit far away from the table. To replace these deficiencies, players use amplifiers, that strengthen the rubbers tension at strikes from a distance.

The so named 'FACTOR X' is the key factor of the Chinese dominance over table tennis. February of 2024 the ITTF introduced regulation for gradual prohibition of amplifier use. They developed Jekyll & Hyde C55.0. This is the first rubber with double tension (dual tension) with X-Factor, which doesn’t need the booster of dual tension because it is already integrated. This was enabled by the use of artificial intelligence.
